Yesterday the M's faced a lineup that had 7 Cubs above the Mendoza line.
The Mariners had 2 (with a 3rd that pinch hit later).
In what should be known going forward as the Servias line, the M's had 6 in the lineup yesterday batting under .190
I'm tired of hearing about marine layers and how early it is. Other teams don't strike out at a historic pace early. Other teams don't waste young talent with a staff that simply cannot develop hitting at a level this one does. I'm sure most good teams also don't make excuses and keep their heads in the sand about what their problems are.
Garbage in = garbage out
Sadly… It’s gonna be more of the same all spring and summer long.
I honestly would not be really surprised for this to be a 100 loss team
It happened to the Chicago White Sox about four or five years ago after they change their club drastically and brought a bunch of new prospects on and new players and we’re predicted to be division contenders and they fell under their face and lost 100 games
