Very few do until it happens, and it's not like this kind of deal is available every year. Ohtani is a unicorn that adds a huge bat and a top tier starting pitcher in 1 fell swoop. It's essentially 2 trades in 1.

What Jerry does have is a storied history of trading. We know he loves it, so there's no chance he doesn't at least explore the idea. Hell, he reached out for Soto, and that would cost about as much for less value in return.
