I previously thought his place was at DH for us ... but you are 100% spot on with the double plays.

All of his HR power ( what little he used to have ) is gone and his constant rolling over on weak ground balls straight to the shortstop is painful to watch.

Now I just want him gone. Any replacement ... ANY is an improvement at this point.

Just watch the pitches that are 3 feet off the plate in any direction.He is loading up and starting his motion on all of them. He is just guessing. He has no pitch recognition coming out of the pitchers hand. None.

His mind is made up to swing prior to the pitcher actually releasing the ball.

he loads up so much that he cannot stop it from happening.

The only thing that will fix that flaw is a much wider stance where he cannot load and coil so much.
Someone needs to address and fix that or our 'superstar' is never gonna hit above .265 and strike out 200x every season.

That was his biggest reason he didn’t get a chance last year and earlier this year was his big strikeout rate. But then you look at how the offense performed and it’s like who cares if a dude strikeouts 40% of the time.

But he has done a great job controlling the zone. This is the most excited I have been for a rookie since Julio last year. I hope for his sake, and the teams obviously, that he keeps it up.
