Not a surprise on any of these.

Kind of surprising considering how BB likes to save cap space. Of course he can change his mind if they all become All-Pro.

Dorsett no surprise, but mildly surprised on Shelton and Brown. The DT option isn't exorbitant for a starting caliber player at that position, but I suppose he probably wants to maintain as much cap flexibility as possible at this point.

Jets are dumping Bryce Petty. I liked him coming out of Baylor, I'd kick the tires on him and let him come compete with Hoyer and/or Etling. Could be an Andrew Walter situation at this point, though, where he's had such poor coaching and been placed in such unavoidably bad situations that the Pats won't be able to correct his bad habits now.

Not shocked they didn't pick up any options. No way in hell they are paying Dorsett that kind of cash, he is not a 1st rounder....unless your Indy. I think they wait and see what Brown can do. He was sort of a disappointment last yr, he was not as dominate as we've seen in the past. Shelton is new in this system, so lets see if he can play here first. They could also be working on a long term deal for these guys also. I expect one of them back.

They'll come back if they play well (and don't get greedy)

Fuck that! Fans are stupid. Get all you can. Ryan Shazier will never play football again. He was very lucky. Classy move by the Steelers.:clap::clap:

Defensive tackle Ra'Shede Hageman was placed on the Comissioner’s Exempt List last September due to a domestic violence incident and remained out of the league all year after the Falcons released him a couple of days later.

Hageman would eventually be given and serve a six-game suspension while a free agent. Now he’s trying to get his career going again.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Hageman met with the Patriots. It’s the first known meeting that Hageman’s had this offseason and it comes with the team that Hageman faced in Super Bowl LI, which was his last non-exhibition game with Atlanta.

Hageman was a second-round pick in 2014. He had 62 tackles and four sacks in 44 games for the Falcons over his first three seasons in the league.

How close to 90 are they?
Bring him in, make sure he's contrite, and let him earn a prove it salary.

I believe he Pats are at 90 right now, with the two punters coming in for tryouts. No reason BB couldn't release one player and sign Hageman, though.

After New Mexico punter Corey Bojorquez attended Patriots rookie minicamp on a tryout basis, the club is moving forward with plans to sign him to the 90-man roster. Like incumbent punter Ryan Allen, Bojorquez is a left-footed punter. He also has experience as a holder.

It must also be noted that Belichick loves left footed punters.

Dorsett restructured his deal...no year, just money..

It official...the NE Patriots dick is jammed so far down Lane Johnson throat, he just can't get the taste out of his mouth. Lesson to be learned kids...This is your brain on PED's......

Julian Edelman has not lost a step. Check out the left knee on this cut.
