Ha. Look, Homey. Die Hard is the quintessential, everyman-yet-tough guy, boot up your ass type movie. It epitomizes what an action movie should be; hardcore action, a hint of comedic relief, gruesome death scenes and catchy one-liners. B Dub's performance was Oscar worthy. You could feel the constriction his character was experiencing as he traveled through the air ducts.

Whenever this movie is on, it's regarded in the same fashion as EF Hutton.

I'm a huge indie flick fan...but Shawshank would be on my list. I'd also add The Usual Suspects and American Beauty (which I hadn't watched in ages until a few weeks ago...forgot how amazing it was).

One of the things that makes a movie a "10" for me is the ability to watch it any time it's on, among other things.
Aliens would be a 10 for me.
Silence of the Lambs and Forrest Gump I just scan by them so they can't get a "10"

While I would give Forrest Gump a 10, I can't watch it over and over.

I am of the unpopular opinion that American Beauty and Forrest Gump sucked major bawls.

American Beauty was just a pretentious pile of shit, and Forrest Gump may be the most overrated movie of all-time...IMO.

I know. I liked it, when it first came out, and I still dig Lt. Dam(sp?) But I watched it a 2nd time and just felt like it was too much, bordering on ridiculous.

It's waay too long, too.


It's a movie that I can guarantee, that I will never watch again.
