Even if alot of these 3rd down and 1s came CLOSE I could maybe not talk about it so much but for years now it seems like no team or certainly not many teams end up coming up so glaringly short on SO many 3rd and 1 or shorter.

Side note.....my Yahoo league is charging a fumble to offensive players even if they retain posession.

Who is the "they"? The player or his team? If he recovers, it evens out. If not, that penalty is not a new thing.

They started that a year or two ago. Technically, the scoring is "fumbles" not "fumbles lost" so they're doing the right thing.
