I think a polarizing team as being one that is either loved or hated among fans. No gray area. I think the Yankees and Lakers are the 2 most polarized teams in the nation. You either love them or you hate them.

I am doing 4 of these (2 divisions in each) and I am going to take the top 4 of each and have the 8 highest voted for the AFC and NFC most polarized, and then the 8 best for the NFL most polarized. That of course is if these threads do not fail.

I wasn't sure who to pick. I picked New Orleans because of the whole bounty gate. I figured since the 49ers have been irrelevant for over a decade until last season, they weren't as polarized.
