Anyone ever think about what would be a most apt baseball trivia analog for the Thaddeus Young trivia question? For those who don't know, there was at one time (no longer true, but that's beside the point) a basketball trivia question asking who has played at least 800 games while averaging at least 13.5 PTS, 5.9 rebounds, 1.4 steals, with 49% FG%, 30% 3-pt FG%? Answer: Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and Thaddeus Young.

I don't know the answer to this, but which player has the most ejections? Bryce harper just got thrown out for the 24th time in his career. That seems like a lot but I have no idea where that ranks.

That kind of data mining/cherry picking can be done all sorts of ways. 5.9 rebounds? Make it 6 and Young is out. 1.4 steals? 1.5 he’s out. 49% FG%? Make it the usual round number 50 and he’s out. Those others are probably significantly higher on most of those

Not a trivia question, just more of a fun fact I stumbled upon today and don't feel like checking every team to make it a trivia question. But from the 2006-2009 seasons (Kevin Millwood), the Rangers have not had the same opening day SP in back to back seasons and only the same person start more than one opening day game (Cole Hamels). Feels pretty insane that they haven't had an "ace" that takes the ball opening day year after year
