yeah the Runs and RBI really weren't necessary for the question. It was originally going to be Gold Glove, Runs, Walks, RBI but 10 guys did that so I thought that was a bit much. Then I noticed one guy had 200 hits and went with that.
Only 13 guys have ever managed the hits and walks in the same season. And eight of them were retired before gold gloves.

Rare air.

Five players since 57.

Great question man.

I plugged the question in Chat GPT. When it gave me the answer, I looked up his season on Baseball Reference and the walks were below 100.

Mike Schmidt only missed on the hits in 1979 and 1983.
yeah without the hits Schmidt did it 4 times and Bonds did it 5. Schmidt was never a real high average hitter to get to 200, especially batting 3rd or 4th. Bonds won a couple batting titles but at that point in his career he was being walked so much he had no chance to get close to 200 hits.

The answer to the question has exactly 100 walks on Baseball reference.

One more . Name the 4 players who had a season with 50 stolen bases, 100 RBI AND at least an 80% stolen base success rate. (This may leave out some of the earlier players because even baseball reference doesn't have complete numbers for Caught Stealing for a lot of the older seasons.)
These 4 players all started their careers at least as late as the 1960s.

Joe Morgan has to be one. That’s all I got.

Who did Chat GPT give you as the answer? Was it Jeter? I think he was close that same year Bernie did it.

Not any of them. Sandberg went for 54 steals with a high pct. but missed the 100 RBIs that year.

Rollins and Roberts didn't walk enough to do that and I don't think either approached 100 RBIs just because they were leadoff hitters.
