That would be right. I saw them take batting practice in Cedar Rapids when Prince was in the Midwest League. Cecil could still hit the ball as far as anyone.Fielders

I am nit sure what happened. He seemed elite one day, and almost done a week later. We have a winner!
Definitely thought Prince would cruise past him.
Missed one game over like a 5 year span.I am nit sure what happened. He seemed elite one day, and almost done a week later.
I did not know any of this, this feels it should have been major news. Goff sent a text about Mcvays wife and it was news for a long time. This is a lot more than that.Missed one game over like a 5 year span.
Then his neck gave out. Shortly after Avisail Garcia started banging his wife.
Coincidently the end of Miggys prime. As he hurt himself kicking Garcias ass in the shower. Tigers traded Garcia later that week.
The rumors swirled for a little while. (My source isn’t in the organization. But his BiL is.)I did not know any of this, this feels it should have been major news. Goff sent a text about Mcvays wife and it was news for a long time. This is a lot more than that.

Cecil and PrinceNot the Boones.
I rescind this question. I thought I got it from a reputable source but it doesn't make any sense. This is what happens when AI starts to take over the internet.Who is the only player to play in the All Star game and World Series in 5 different decades?
I know this is kind of a weird question the way that it is worded because players don't play that long. What they mean is he played in the All Star game 3 different decades and the WS 2 (or vice versa).
The answer was Pete Rose but the question was bogus no matter how you look at it. Rose did have WS in 2 different decades and AS in 3 different decades which adds up to 5 decades. But then when you think about it there's no way he was the only one to do that. Yogi Berra would have to have more than that and I'm sure there are others.I know the question was rescinded, but would Manny Mota or Jim Kaat make it?
Hey spell check the answer is never DUCK
I think Minoso is the only guy to play in 5 decades but he was never in the World SeriesMinnie Minoso not Manny Mota. I mix some players up.

Yeah that guy had a good run. 25 years as a player and many years as an announcerKaat went to the WS in 3 different decades and was an All-star in 2.
Joel YoungbloodHere is a quick one for everyone. Which baseball player got hits for 2 different teams on the same day?
That little tid bit is known by anyone who has listen to Giants broadcasts with any regularity over the last 30 years or so. Youngblood was a Giant who played with both Kruk and Kuip, and they talk about him a lot.Yep. Traded from the Mets to the Expos in 1982. I believe Montreal was playing in Philadelphia that day after a home game at Shea.
