Pettitte is correct. Only 2020 Ks leads the team.
Just curious I wonder who leads the Yankees all time for strikeouts at the plate (so the batter not the pitcher)? Gotta be someone who played there a long time so not Reggie. Wild ass guessing, Jeter? Ruth?

Just a guess, I'd say Mickey Mantle.

I'm thinking jeter. He struck out like a power hitter

Jeter is by far the games played leader for the Yankees so it figures

Well he played 346 fewer games than Jeter and struck out 130 fewer times. Had over 3000 fewer at bats so he struck out at a greater rate, Jeter just played there forever

Doesn’t Jeter lead all HOFers in Ks?

Good question, but I looked it up he isn't even close. Can you guess which HOFer leads that stat? He also leads all MLB players.

I think it’s Reggie.

Was kidding. Jetes struck out like a power hitter.

Sure, I get that.

Jeter is tied for 20th all time in strikeouts with Bobby Abreu

Who is #2 after Reggie?

Wow I hadn't seen the career SO list in along time. I remember when Reggie took the overall lead from Mantle. Mantle is now 38th. I saw who was #2 so I am out on that one, but I was surprised how close he was.
