Walter Johnson?
Got it! My next question - who was the first player to die of Lou Gehrig's disease?Cy Young
Good guess, I think he was secondWalter Johnson?
it was, of course, Cy Young
yeah when you crank out 511 Wins, you're gonna have some 20+ win seasons. He did it 16 times.it was, of course, Cy Young
All reasonable guesses, except I always considered Concepcion a shortstop (although he may have played 3rd too) but none correct. I guess this is a pretty tough question. But they are all players whose names you would recognize and 5 are hall of famers (including Henderson). All WAGs…
C- Biggio
1B - Joyner (almost certainly wrong)
2B - White
SS - Larkin
3B - Concepcion
RF - Coleman
CF - Raines
P - Marichel
No, good guess though. Lofton was close.Kenny Lofton CF......??
Acuna SS......??
I avoided looking them up, so some of the positions are likely off…All reasonable guesses, except I always considered Concepcion a shortstop (although he may have played 3rd too) but none correct. not MaysMays for CF?
Nope, not yet anywayJT Realmuto?
No sorry I should have said this is for the live ball era, after 1920. And as it turns out all of them Played at least until the mid 70's most of them more recent. But if we included dead ball players there was also a guy named Billy Hamilton who beat out Cobb with 914 in the 1800s or something.Ty Cobb has to be on there…..
