Waddell and Warford both go down. Travis Swanson got in at guard and did pretty well and it will be a good learning experience to prepare him for next year when we shit can Ravioli. Cornelius Lucas got in at the tackle spot. I want to see this kid develop and become the 3rd tackle.

Also, expect to see Garret Reynolds activated next week as he plays both those positions.

Bush tweaked his ankle again, not that he is a big factor for us any more. Bell runs better than him and Riddick is a better receiver.

Not sure if anything happened to Whitehead. He was not in the game in the second half. Not sure I even saw him in the first.

Ebron and Fauria did not play and we need them. Pettigrew sucks. Heck I would rather see Broyles out there.

At least Megatron suffered no setbacks and looked good although still a half step slower. Van Noy seemed fine although I do not remember seeing him on anything other than special teams.

Bynes seems to be in there with the running-downs sub packages. He's got quite a lot more size than Whitehead and I think they like his presence between the tackle thumpings the opposing RB.

I'm pleasantly surprised at how much use this coaching staff gets out of all the back-ups and reserves. We run way more sub packages than Schwartz and/or Linehan ever did, particularly on the defensive side of the ball. That 3rd LB/5th DB spot is heavily rotated and switched around all game. Also, with the emergence of George Johnson and the improved play of Daryl Tapp, our D-line rotation is a player deeper this year.

We might well have to name Austin as our head coach in waiting before too long, because he'll be a hot commodity in a couple of years if he keeps up this wizardry he's worked with our defense...
