You know what, let me sit here and count my team out. You're fucking talking like it's set in stone that the Habs will win since they accomplished being here. You're doing what i'm doing, but for the opposite side, you're just too blind to see it. Your Ranger hate blinds you from saying anything positive about them. The way you're talking, because the Canadiens made it this far, they should be the only team feeling confident gooing into the game tomorrow.

You're basically sitting here, telling me to not feel confident in my team and say ''ohh, well the Habs made it this far, nobody expected it, so therefor they're going to win the game''

As if it's not a fucking accomplishment my team came back from a 3-1 defecit to advance here. We all must forget that because the Habs made it here!! I'm fucking confident in my team winning an elimination game AT HOME, like we've done multiple times in the past, including 2 times this year. Excuse me for being overconfident about a game.

I never said the Habs should win the game, I said the Habs should be commended for being this far in the playoffs, all you talk about is how Henrik Lundqvist is unbeatable in elimination games at home - newsflash, that streak is going to end at some point, it may not end tomorrow but it'll end at some point - you need to stop acting blind when it comes to that, thinking, "Okay, it's an elimination game, the Habs will NOT win the game" - all it takes is one win by the other team and you won't be saying that anymore

There's nothing wrong with being confident, but when you said the Habs WON'T win and that they will be lucky to score one against Hank tomorrow night, reeks of some type of arrogance because you think that no team will ever beat the Rangers at MSG in an elimination game

BTW as for the Moore hit - I don't care what anyone thinks of it , that hit was long overdue and Moore got the right guy. If Habs fans have a problem with it too damn bad. When Prust did that to Stepan he should have been dismembered w/in 5 seconds but the Rangers let it go. Dorsett's attempt was honorable but worthless. Payback boys simple as that. Don't like it then don't ask for it. I personally enjoyed watching Weise searching for his head while being helped off the ice. Fuck'em

Agreed.

You have nothing to apologize for Johnny. The Habs will be playing golf by this wkend while we're getting ready for the finals.

Oh so you're saying it's okay for John Moore to target someone's head and maybe knock them out of the series? You realize Dale Weise has been a darn good player for the Habs in the playoffs? Way better than the scrubs that the Rangers have(Dan Carcillo and Derek Dorsett) - Dale Weise has also been much smarter of a player and hasn't been taking dumb penalties unlike those guys

This post reeks of arrogance as well

I'm sorry, but i'm not going to sit here and act all negative about my team in a big game. I'm confident, I wanted us to close the series at home, in front of some of the most loyal fans in the world. I'm not even mad about it going 6, it's what I picked us to win in anyways. And if anything, this is the year of the Rangers breaking records, not having theirs be broken. Never beat Pittsburgh in the playoffs? Check. Never came back from a series being down 3-1 and to win? Check. Hank winning 5 game 7's in a row for most all time? Check. Shall I keep going?

That we will be. LR, they want us to feel shitty about our team and our chances tomorrow. Because the Habs accomplished more by being here. As if their path was harder than ours to get here. :L Give me a break.

Tomorrow, we end this!

It's called retaliation, don't dish it our if you can't take it. And, Moore hit him with his shoulder, not his elbow. Still a bad hit, but Prust's was 100x worse.

I'm not telling you to act negative, you're saying that on your own - the point is, you need to quit acting arrogant and thinking that your team has never lost anything of significance - if your team was that great you would have already finished this series out and other series previous

Just because they've broken records this year doesn't mean they're going to win it all - records are meant to be broken, so that also applies to other teams beating the Rangers too, you know?

Who gives a flying crap if he hit him with his shoulder and not his elbow? It's obvious he targeted the head and got a piece of the head, you can't do that - you are defending the hit - since you always talk about how "if a Ranger did this, na na na", if a Flyers player had done that to a Ranger, you'd be saying that player should be suspended for the rest of the playoffs, but because it's a Ranger, "It's only called retaliation" - what did Dale Weise do to you guys? Nothing, he's been playing the game hard and you guys are deciding to take it out on someone

The fact you are supporting the hit by calling it "retaliation" is unbelievable - and no, Brandon Prust's hit was not "100x worse"

You just keep going back and fourth, this argument is pointless. You're gonna sit here and defend the Habs' side, i'm gonna sit here and defend our side. This wont go anywhere, but get worse.

When did I say ''how great we are'' i'm just saying, if you wanna look at what the Habs accomplished, look at what we did as well. Just a bit more significant for us, but you wont ever admit that. There's a reason why we're here and teams like Pittsburgh and Philly were knocked out by us.

I guess you missed my multiple posts saying Moore should be suspended. It may have been a dirty hit, but don't dish it out if you can't take it. It was okay for prust to target Stepan's head, he was praised, but John Moore does it and he should be crucified? Give me a fucking break.

Yeah, you're right, a hit that came 5 seconds after a play isn't 100x worse. Prust should be praised for it. Who the fuck cares who he hit? I don't give a shit, Weise was on the ice, he got hit, idc if was Gallagher, Eller, Plekanec, whoever, he got hit, end of story.

He'll be suspended and like I said, i'm fine with it. I have wanted Diaz in for him for the longest time.

Here Marcus, refresh your memory. Remind me where I said i'm against Moore being suspended please. Stop putting words in my mouth, especially bullshit ones.

You're absolutely right. You only agreed with someone who said it was good that a player got hurt.

I agreed that the hit was bad and he should be suspended...

It's unfortunate if he is hurt, but the hit can only be labeled as retailiation. They've been playing a dirty game all series, Rangers do it, and now everyone is up in arms.

You also typed "Agreed." (no other qualifiers) and even bolded when LR wrote "I personally enjoyed watching Weise searching for his head while being helped off the ice."

Here comes the victim card again. The Rangers have been so angelic up to that point, but even angels have their breaking point, right? Prust is a bonehead who did a boneheaded thing and got suspended for it, that's not indicative of the team as a whole playing a dirty series.

How about I make sweeping generalizations too and say that the Habs should decapitate a ref tomorrow in retaliation for Carcillo being a moron? That makes just as much sense as what you wrote. You know why? Because Carcillo is also a bonehead who did a boneheaded thing. That doesn't reflect in any way on the rest of the Rangers though.

I did enjoy it, it's about time somebody stuck up for Stepan's hit to his jaw. Like I said, unfortunate IF Weise is hurt and will miss games, i'm not sure anything has been said on that yet. Fans cheered when Prust knocked out Stepan, I simply did the same and now i'm at fault, as usual.

I said we've been angelic? Once again, words being put in my mouth by members of this board, doesn't even surprise me anymore. And honestly, don't even know why i'm even responding back to defend myself, when something else will come up and i'll be digging an even deepr hole. I'm not playing the victim card at all, there;s been dirty and questionable hits on both sides. Let alone the embellishment done by the Canadiens all series long.

Shoulder to chest. Other than the hit being late, it's not as bad as being talked about.

zJQQ5mXQSVWe7ksN5ErZ

@FriedgeHNIC: CBC technology indicates Prust hit on Stepan was .93 seconds after puck gone; Moore on Weise was .5

Hmmm... I've heard the "precedent" is after .6 is considered a late hit.
