It is Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals, it's no fluke that the Habs are at this point - they're a resilient team who have been counted out all series - if you think this is going to be easy think again

If one bad game from Henrik Lundqvist doesn't mean shit then why did he have three bad games in a row two years ago against the Devils when the Rangers were up in the series? Or when the Rangers were down 3-1 to the Penguins?

I don't know why you're so worried about the Habs players talking - they're a team that feels confident in theirselves and they have every right to be playing in a Game 6 of the Conference Finals

Even if Henrik Lundqvist plays well tomorrow night, the Rangers could still lose this game - like Game 3 - at some point, records are made to be broken and eventually the Rangers will lose an elimination game on home ice, you can't keep banking on it - you guys have serious trouble closing out teams, you should have closed them out already in this series, you had trouble closing out the Flyers and historically they've had trouble closing out other series

But let me guess, it's a fluke that the Rangers are 1 win away from the Cup finals, right?

Bring up being down 3-1, but remind me what Hank did in games 5-7 to advance us to the next round, please. Oh that's right, a total of 4 goals given up in 3 games to back-stop us to the ECF's.

He wont be beat at home in an elimination game. Mark my words. Henrik is never ''rattled'' Let's see how Dusty plays in a big moment, on the worlds biggest stage.

I hadn't even realized Bourque got the major there at the end. Weird call by the officials on that one.

Not shocked by the decision on Dorsett, but I thought perhaps he'd at least get the token fine.

Dorsett is another one that needs to go. Uselessn I can't believe I even supported him early on during the season

Yeah I didn't notice that either at the end - unless it was obvious that it needed to be a major I'm surprised they'd call that then

Derek Dorsett should be suspended considering he's had this coming for a while, the crap he pulls on the ice is ridiculous and the refs do nothing about it - but whatever, he's a 4th line plug, I guess you can't worry that much about him

I didn't think there was anything out of the ordinary about it that should have warranted a call when the game was over.

Definitely a penalty during the game and I might (strong emphasis on might) have been OK with a game misconduct if it had happened with 3-4 minutes to go to keep the game from getting out of control. But when the game is already over it doesn't do anything other than add two extra lines to an already absurd penalty summary on the score sheet.

1) Nobody said it was a fluke that the Rangers are one win away from the cup

2) I don't think Dustin Tokarski is going to be rattled at this point in the playoffs, so if you're expecting that, forget it

You seem to be completely disrespecting what the Canadiens have done and you're already counting them out when this series should have been over

I would agree with that. This is a guy who is quite possibly a career AHL level player (or backup at best) with 8 career NHL games prior to stepping in to the ECF. He's probably living so high on the experience that he doesn't even feel it.

Expectations are low too (and probably have already been exceeded) given that virtually everyone wrote off the Habs when Price was ruled out.

Exactly - he's enjoying every minute of it because he never knows if he'll be back in this spot again - anything the Habs do at this point is gravy

The fact he's got them to six games should be a huge credit to him, and for people who are downplaying it and not giving him the credit he deserves, then shame on them - he's been fantastic under pressure

Unless his career takes a major 180 here, it's probably fairer to say he knows he'll never be back in this spot again.

/Not as a starter at least.

They're a good team. I never said otherwise, nor did I say it when Price was out. Habs have always played us tough, in fact, we were winless in their arena for over 4 seasons, until this year. So therefore that statement is in fact wrong.

Sorry, I guess I can't be confident in my team coming home up 3-2 with a chance to close out the series. I guess i'll post in here saying how much we suck and how I don't believe in my team and we shouldn't even play the game, just at the mere fact that this Habs team made it all the way here. That alone is more impressive, more impressive than the Rangers being down 3-1 headed to Pittsburgh with their backs against the wall.

You keep talking as if the Habs shouldn't even play the game tomorrow night - you act as if it's a complete foregone conclusion that your team is winning this game and it's ridiculous

You know what, let me sit here and count my team out. You're fucking talking like it's set in stone that the Habs will win since they accomplished being here. You're doing what i'm doing, but for the opposite side, you're just too blind to see it. Your Ranger hate blinds you from saying anything positive about them. The way you're talking, because the Canadiens made it this far, they should be the only team feeling confident gooing into the game tomorrow.

You're basically sitting here, telling me to not feel confident in my team and say ''ohh, well the Habs made it this far, nobody expected it, so therefor they're going to win the game''

As if it's not a fucking accomplishment my team came back from a 3-1 defecit to advance here. We all must forget that because the Habs made it here!! I'm fucking confident in my team winning an elimination game AT HOME, like we've done multiple times in the past, including 2 times this year. Excuse me for being overconfident about a game.

BTW as for the Moore hit - I don't care what anyone thinks of it , that hit was long overdue and Moore got the right guy. If Habs fans have a problem with it too damn bad. When Prust did that to Stepan he should have been dismembered w/in 5 seconds but the Rangers let it go. Dorsett's attempt was honorable but worthless. Payback boys simple as that. Don't like it then don't ask for it. I personally enjoyed watching Weise searching for his head while being helped off the ice. Fuck'em
