can you find large specific numbers that point to gays and Hiv etc being a major problem that isn't remotely as large in the straight community even though that population severely outnumbers the other ? Yes you can.

there is absolutely no case study by high ranking psych professionals of someone suffering from homophobia. And just because its in a dictionary doesn't give it validity either. Webster's constantly adds trendy/slang terms and probably got funding from a gay group to put it in.

what reading are you talking about ? the small time school books that do it because donations and funding would be withheld if they didn't ? there is no extensive truthful study that proves people are born gay. Its usually a couple sorry paragraphs or a small chapter that doesn't say much of anything scientific.

You CANNOT say as a fact that being gay is a choice. Just as much as I CANNOT say that it is not. Frankly, we do not, and cannot know. We can only believe that it is one way or the other. But from what I have heard from EVERY gay person that I have ever heard from, it is not a choice. And it makes perfect sense to conclude that it isn't a choice, and some pretty twisted logic to conclude otherwise.

Why would gay people choose to be gay when it costs them their families, careers, and in extreme cases, their lives? That just doesn't make sense.

And if it was a choice, why don't we see a sizable amount of people going back and forth with claiming they are straight or gay? That just doesn't make sense.

And if we truly had a choice in who we found attractive, and if there are 50% men and 50% women out there for us to choose from, wouldn't there be a MUCH higher percentage of the population that would be gay? That just doesn't make sense.
