How about a 1925- 1995 70 Year 12 HOF's draft...

You can a maximum HOFrs (includes MVP) from each position group. The groups will be:

2 per QB, FB, RB
2 per WR, TE (5 total)
2 per OL (5 total)
2 per DL (3 or 4 total)
2 per LB (3 or 4 total)
2 per 3 CB's 2 S's (5 total)

So how any tweaking to this?

I don't like that MVPs count as HOFers in this one. I understand why we did it in baseball, but I think we solved the problem by switching the years.

Other than that, maybe tweak the groupings a bit. I feel like EVERYONE will get a HOF QB and RB. Maybe lump all the skill positions together and say 3 out of these QB, RB, WR, TE. Or just simplify it to 6 on offense and 6 on defense.

Hmmmm, I actually like breaking it down the way Shane had it, otherwise everyone is just gonna have a bunch of hall of fame skill players and the best line they can patch together..

I was thinking about the pairings and grouping all the skill positions into one but I actually like these groups, usually in every draft every team has a HOF QB and RB so I'm not too worried about that. And I like that MVP shouldnt count.
