That's awesome, I hope the sport continues to gain popularity.

all I'm saying, when it comes to football, I hate the mentality to run the clock out and go into overtime. I would rather see a team try to win it before time runs out. OT is like safety net.

The article didn't bring up something that would seriously consider examination - comparison of ticket prices. NBA averages around $48, and MLS is around $25. It would be extremely amusing to see the NBA's business model collapse.

Again, so much hate for the NBA on these boards...

"MLS Soccer 2011! All of the Fast Kicking! Low Scoring! and TIES TIES TIES YOU CAN HANDLE!"

If 2K Sports really wanted to make a splash with NBA 12 they should have made the lockout its key feature. Buy the game, then sit, wait, and stare at it until the lockout is lifted.

NBA ticket prices are too high. Have been for a long time.

They might as well have, there are a grand total of 3 rookies currently in the game. I have no idea how the rookie/sophomore challenge works. (one of the 3 is your my player you create...)
