But how many MLB Games are there.. and how many NFL games are there on ESPN? (A year)

Doesn't matter. That was my counterpoint to "MLB has priced themselves out of the market with high ticket prices." The fact that they sold 74MM tickets proves that's not the case.

That couldn't be farther from the truth. Just look at Mariner ticket prices compared to the Seahawks :gaah:

Yep. You can get into The Jake for $13 and get your first beer for free.

You're not going to a Browns or Cavs game for anywhere near that cheap.

Except when there aren't.

I gave the attendance figures for 2015.

There were 254 NFL games & 2,418 MLB games in 2015.

It's not really germane to the conversation, but the figures were easily attainable.

The NFL's biggest advantage is TV because it plays once a week, usually on a weekend so people can watch it without missing work time.

I am not aloud to post on al central board... So I have to respond here... Indians offense is over performing and you know it. You also know I predicted the al central to be...

Indians
Tigers
White Sox
Royals
Twins

Search it... Its there multiple times.... And I was laughed at for saying the Royals would collapse.

If you say so.

Fact is, The AL Central board is CHALK FULL of stupid shit that you said.

Speaking as a hardcore ADD millennial that loves baseball and football, both sports are too long. I DVR football games and skip the commercials. The experience is much better than any other way to watch football.

I think the DH is here to stay for at least 10 more years in the NL. Its less exciting but more strategic. I would still watch NL ball with the DH so I wouldn't care either way too much. Pitchers are like kickers and racehorses these days and can't function in the real world anyways but nothing gets a team going more than when a pitcher gets a big hit.

Are AL games longer? Higher .avg means longer games I'm assuming.

Id support a pitch clock but MLB is everywhere around here so maybe Im the wrong person to be in this thread

Amazes me that the people who whine about baseball are often the same people who will defend football to their deathbeds.

I still prefer baseball to any other sport but yeah they got to speed up the game. I'm watching the Jays game now. Started an hour and 40 minutes ago and they're only in the 4th.

It only gets you an 8 ounce horse piss beer of Bud or Miller products. If want something other than swill, it will only get you $4 off a decent beer. So $12 Great Lakes will be $8. What a deal.

Still means you got into the park for $9. Can you go to a Browns game for $9? How about the Cavs?

Yeah Ticket Prices for MLB Games are ridiculous
I can go for less than twenty bucks.

That ain't happenin for an NFL or NBA game.

And on the price of beer: buy a fuckin plastic flask and put it in your boot if you need to get drunk in public. That's what I do anyway. Worst case scenario, you need to buy a new flask.
