Great point. Something that the younger players will have the responsibility to address as they push to clean up the game and open up the CBA again sometime in the future... good of the game versus the player's individual right to appeal. This A-Rod, PED's Non-suspension Will affect Teams ability to Qualify for the Playoffs!!!!
Just wonder what the Players on teams that are competing for playoff spots thinking. Everytime A-Rod ( he is Suspened making $170,000 per game ) helps Yankees defeat a playoff contender , ,Boston, Tampa, Oakland ,Baltimore, Texas, Cleveland, KC, Detroit. Hell even the Yankees could make the Playoffs.
What if his appeal is denied after the Season? Too late then. Every game Yankees play with A-Rod affects all the other teams.
Will all the Yankee Wins with A-Rod be Nullified?
Then what?
If Yankees knock out another team , MLB will have Hell to pay??
They won't and they shouldn't be. A-Rod has every right to due process. Sorry that you don't agree with it, but that's how it works. This A-Rod, PED's Non-suspension Will affect Teams ability to Qualify for the Playoffs!!!!

Due process should never suffer for some mythical "good of the game concept." After watching the umpire crew in the game last night, I am not convinced they give a damn about the good of the game.Great point. Could not agree more. Last night was a complete failure if the umps were demonstrating their concerns for "The good of the game" Not saying every call was wrong but the ones that were was beyond bad.Due process should never suffer for some mythical "good of the game concept."
