I thought he retired.
Didn't even mind dealing Naylor as honestly seemed like maybe our only inlikeable player. Obviously can live with that but guessing he will want too much to extend.Makes more sense with Santana signing.
Maybe a Kwan extension is going to be where they spend it hahaDidn't even mind dealing Naylor as honestly seemed like maybe our only inlikeable player. Obviously can live with that but guessing he will want too much to extend.
Not even a dump with the Santana signing........but how about spend the money we saved on Gimenez elsewhere
Sadly might be right. While extending him would be great doesn't do anything to add talent.Maybe a Kwan extension is going to be where they spend it haha
Gleyber Torres signs with Detroit. 1/15
not sure if i am happy the yankees didnt sign him...
its weird, losing Soto takes a big piece out of our offense...
but signing Goldy and Bellanger, both can have real upside.... but if they have trouble, i would have wanted to keep the younger and more consistent bat in gleyber... i still think he is a good bat...
He has all the talent in the world, and showed glimpses his first few years with the Yankees. He's a defensive liability however, and don't get me started on the effort. I'm happy I don't have to watch him slow jog to 1B on ground balls anymore.

Is using one of the WORST contracts in the history of sport as a template really a good idea?
If he keeps the $ the same today that’s hardly a ton of money compared to Fielder’s eraIs using one of the WORST contracts in the history of sport as a template really a good idea?
Yeah, that is absolutely absurd. Alonso is going to end up with one of those 2-3 year deals with multiple opt-outs because Boras grossly overestimated his market.

There has been talk about this transaction in the Giants' forum.Posted in the NL West thread, but it looks quiet, so I'll add it here:
