There is a 10 point difference between you and smitty. Ritz's vote will not matter. We sure could use Smittys rankings though.

500 - 24
UK - 24
Nos - 24
Ritz - 24
Smitty - 34
Milk - 36
Jeffro - 39
WLK - 47
My rankings definitely wouldn't look like that though.

I went through all the pitchers numbers. Waddell and Joss were unbelievable. All 10 were really. I knew Walter Johnson would have an insane career ERA plus, which he did at 148, but I was surprised that it was only good for 2nd of the 10. Kershaw had the 1st
Kershaw is really going at a remarkable clip so far in his career. The only thing I have a hard time with when it comes to career numbers is the current players haven't had the sting of Father Time yet.

Miggy has a batting average in the top 50 AllTime. Most of those ahead of him are speed guys and dead ball era. (With exceptions). There's no way he stays that high as he gets older. But I was surprised he was that high anyway. Not bad for a 1st baseman....(Sisler and Gehrig are tied for 16th.)

To me, Kershaw is already Koufax. If he hung it up today, never pitched again, there would only be 4 men who ever won more Cy Youngs(3). Ever. And he has a 2nd as well. His ERA+ CAREER. Is 149. Insane

He's incredible for sure.

Sandy is another of those guys that didn't have his career rate stats marred by twighlight years. (Joss is another.)

Yep, Sandy and Joss are pretty similar IMO. If Kershaw stays healthy, I think he is the top lefty ever.

Playoffs
Kershaw : 5.12 ERA
Left Arm of God : 0.95 ERA

Gonna have to do a little better when it matters before we go all crazy saying he's as good as Sandy...

At 27, Kershaw has won as many Cy Young's as Koufax did in his entire career, and has better career numbers in ERA, strikeouts per 9 innings, and ERA+ across the board....

AND... Has done absolutely nothing to help his team win a Championship... Don't get me wrong, I think Kershaw is an amazing pitcher, he's just not on Sandy's level yet. Let's see him lead his team to a Championship or two then we can have this conversation...

So....Championships are the determining factor....so Emmitt Smith with the most yards AND 3 Championships is the greatest of all time after all....

You missed the point big brother. I didn't say Championships are the determining factor I said leading your team to a Championship vs not separates the greats from the legends. Sandy lead his team to Championships Kershaw has not... Great starting pitchers have much more impact on a teams ability to win a Championship than a great RB does, case in point Madison Bumgarner, without him the Royals win last year...

There are of course exceptions, like TD winning Championships making Elway look good but for the most part it's true...
