Why don't you see a bunch of stolen bases in all star games? because you don't risk running into outs with the best current players in the game coming up, now look at the same scenario with the best hitters of all time coming up. I also didn't say base RUNNING wouldn't be important its always nice to have good base runners but base runners and base stealing are two different things. I'm right on this one Milk, let it go and lets move on.

All Star games aren't great indicators or precedent setters to me, for any of our Mocks. Atleast the play within them. Being an AS/PBer counts for something.

I say we let UK repick to replace Santana. Then hold the voting all over. I don't like DQ anyone especially on a honest mistake. Its UK's #5 pitcher so he might not even be used in a 7 game series.

You make it seem like every opinion you have ever shared has been met with negative response, that's obviously not true. I promise you I ain't trying to make you look bad, you saying you don't like Gwynn in the 2 hole did that, had nothing to do with me.

Speedy runner on 1st, Gwynn at the plate, do you risk an out to gain 1 base or do you let Gwynn do what he does so well, hit and run sure but straight steal I don't think so, not to mention in the straight steal you then lose the hole between 1st and 2nd. I agree with Smitty, the threat of the steal is great but risking an out with Gwynn, Foxx and a bunch of the other best hitters who ever lived isn't a good idea. JUST MY WELL INFORMED OPINION, lolzzz
