1857 is different than 1907, just as NFL in 1997 will be viewed as much different than 1947 100 years from now. JMO

thats why you look at outliers... he had 6 200+ strikeout seasons, in a time nobody struck out... in 1888 he average 6.9 SOs per 9 innings while the league was at 1.7... pretty significant there...

It does, I agree... But what hurts them IMO is how strike outs were rare(due to style of baseball back then) and HRs were rare(due to cavernous stadiums)...

next baseball draft maybe we could make a 25th round and have stadium played in...

Y'all have a very tough matchup IMO. You're 1st 3 hitters are unstoppable, just sick, and you have Mo. Ritz has a solid lineup top to bottom and a little better rotation. Two great teams, nice job both of you.
