How's Lucroy doing on the Indians :pound:

I think it is better. Francona talked about not making too many trades bc it can sometimes screw up chemistry. Miller was a huge pickup and sures up the bullpen. Added an outfielder for depth. Good luck to Texas but Lucroy can go suck a dick

You will draft 24 players.

1 each C,1B,2B,SS,3B,LF,CF,RF,DH
5 bench players who are defensive specialists that can play in the field for 5 of your position players.

5 starting pitchers
5 relief pitchers

Each playoff round will be a five game series.

This is the original rules. I don't see anything about an option.

Does it say that can play in the field or does it say that must play in the field?

I still think pitching is whats gonna get in their way.
I thought you were an offense wins guy lol. Biggest key for the Rangers is Yu and Hamels being 100% down the stretch, if they are, we are legit contenders, if they aren't, then we aren't

Offense does win but as a Twins fan I watched my club beat the chit out of Rangers pitching, if the Twins can do it i'm pretty sure Boston, Baltimore and Cleveland can.

That was a random series in 162, I wouldn't put a lot of stock in a team getting hot playing a team in a slump. Not to mention the Twins beat up on several guys who won't be pitching in October. We'll see

Just another word on the Rangers, I have always liked the Rangers even before I moved to Texas so i'd love to see them back in the Series. So this isn't just me bashing them I just think their pitching is going to be an issue.

5 - 2 against the Rangers are the Twins. 62 runs in 7 games. Beat up on pitchers who won't be pitching in October? So why aren't these players pitching now if they are the saviors come October? Is the entire staff on the DL?

I mean, the Rangers have 61 wins, you win some, you lose some. Maybe the Twins had our number. Lucky for us, there's no need to worry about seeing them in the playoffs

Oh, I see. I does say they can.

So you can pick PRs and PHs, as long as they are "defensive specialists". How do we determine a "defensive specialist"?

The Twins always play the Indians tough, that is expected out of division rivals. I am hoping they don't sweep us in his 4 game series lol

I do mainly gold gloves but I don't think that always determines a defensive guy. A hustle guy, especially a guy that can play multiple positions---a utility guy is pretty important

See this is kinda where it gets sticky, if you don't need any defensive subs then why would you have to draft them, I guess that could have been worded better but if you only need say 2 defensive subs you don't HAVE to draft 5 defensive specialists.

I'll be happy with a split, I just wanna see improvement from the kids. Good at bats by Sano, Buxton, Kepler & Rosario. Y'all see that catch by Buxton the other night? WOW He's gotta be the fastest player in the game or at least one of the fastest...
