He did not pitch in the 93 post season with the Jays.

Nope, but he started all year and did get a 4th ring. We're gonna nitpick all the numbers for everyone equally I hope

I suspect we will have many 'nit-picking' discussions about these teams.

I'm saying it right now: the first person that brings up a players batting average is getting slapped!

In reality, there shouldn't be a reason to nitpick anything. We're all baseball fans, I don't need to see Johnny Bench's WAR to know he's the best to ever play catcher. All the teams are great. I believe when I line up Carlton, Palmer, Morris and Richard in a 7 game, there's no way I'm losing 4 of 7. Someone else will think their lineup is too good to be beat. It's what makes this fun IMO

holy crap, lets list every player on your team with every stat they ever had....wow..
.

Uk does have the best starting pitchers, in my opinion - but only because he has the best #4 SP, at least 2 other teams could easily take 4 out of 7 with their staffs. You have seen what the Detroit tigers have done the last 4 years.....with the "Best Rotation in Baseball", lol

Maybe I will start Eckersley against Richard...that's the only matchup I am worried about, I am good on the others.

''Easily beat''? In a 7 game series, Splittorff goes to the pen. In their PRIME Carlton, Palmer, and Morris pitch twice, Richard goes once. But if you decide to start Eck against Richard in game 7, I like Richard there(if it got to game 7), but hey, I night just bring Lefty back on short rest. Very possible, because back in the day, Lefty had 346 IP, 30 complete games and 8 shutouts in one SEASON going 27-10 with a sub 2 ERA......

Obviously in jest lol. You've got a couple of clutch SP's and probably the best lineup. I think it would come down to all hands on deck game 7
