When all is said and done... How will we evalauate the teams?

Total team WAR? Average OPS+/ERA+?

Can we figure out a fair way to evaluate player's peak years? Best five or ten season overall? Best ten year stretch?

Should we look at accumulation stats? Total HR, total SO?

Me saying you need to judge a certain way isn't going to work, you look at the team judging every player as if they are in their prime and decide what TEAM you think is best. If we used counting stats that would make these stupid IMO because some of the best players didn't play 20 years and didn't accumulate big numbers.

Lolich played before 1977 and after 1977 but not during 1977. So nos said he was allowed.

Well ladies and gents we are getting ready to do our next draft after we have crowned a Champion in our current NBA Salary Cap Challenge.

So why 1977? Well, it was Bums who came up with the idea and what it means is you can draft any player you want but the player must have played in 1977.

At least 1 at bat for position players
At least 1/3 inning pitched for pitchers

Steve is correct, its my fault for not making the rule more clear but as the rule is written Lolich did not play in 1977 so he is not eligible.
