I'll throw this list out there in case anyone has any desire to discuss re-signings. Here's the list, as near as I can tell, of minor league guys who will be free agents this offseason:

Jose Flores, sp
Cody Hall, rp
Casey Kelly, sp
Jarret Martin, rp
Drew Muren, rp
Julio Pena, rp
Nate Reed, rp

Jose Flores and Jerry Sands back
I like bringing both of them back. Sands hit well at AA (one of the only guys to do so in 2017) and Flores looked decent at AAA. Could be a guy that sneaks into the 2018 Giants' bullpen.

Cameron Avila-Leeper also was released, so I guess he could be added to this list.

My list was generally correct. The only one I missed was Stephen Johnson.

The ones who are NOT free agents are Ray Black (was unsure about him) and Drew Muren (really?).

Jose Flores, Jeff Arnold and Jerry Sands all re-signed with the farm.

For some reason, Tim Federowicz, Conor Gillaspie, Jae-gyun Hwang and Carlos Moncrief are not listed as f.a.'s by Baseball America so I wonder if they are considered major league free agents.

Pitched in AA last year, made 15 starts. Wouldn't be surprised if he starts there again
The Giants do sometimes send guys down a level after signing them. Wonder how he'd fit in the AA rotation. It would seem rather crowded already.

Giants signed catcher Justin O'Connor and outfielder Luigi Rodriguez.

O'Connor was formerly a Rays' top prospect. Known for his excellent defense behind the plate, the hope was that he could turn into a homerun threat. Never really happened, but the defensive chops are real.

Rodriguez has 3 interesting tools with power, speed and a good arm. His defense and his ability to make contact are in question. He plays all 3 OF positions, most in CF, but his time in CF has decreased the past 4 seasons. If he can still play CF, he makes for a pretty interesting flyer.

(I thought about pulling a @calsnowskier here and creating a click-bait thread title) Giants sign Madison....

Madison Youngier, pitcher.

He's 27 years old. He's never posted huge numbers and was never a big-time prospect, but he was a known commodity in his time with the Red Sox's farm.

Throws hard, up to 97. His strikeout pitch is a curveball.

The interesting thing, to me, is the fact that he pitched with the Dodgers' AAA team last year. Who was the pitching coach in AAA last year? New Giants' bullpen coach Matt Herges.

Perhaps the two figured something out last year, or we were in the process of a big break. Or maybe not! But it makes for something to think about.

Here's a handy little list that is sortable and searchable..... on the other hand it doesn't seem to list prospects that resigned so maybe it's not all that handy. It also shows only one official Giants signing but I know for sure there's more, because LGH, Cal and I have posted as such.

Sorta helpful Baseball America MiLB signings tracker
I don't know how minor league signings become official but MiLB, MLB Trade Rumors and Baseball America do not show the ones you've reported as official. For example, if you click on the link for the profiles you gave, they are still listed as free agents. Maybe agents are delaying official reporting due, for some reason, the stalled offseason market.

Giants signed Josh Rutledge to a minor league deal. I wouldn't be surprised if he is brought to spring training to compete with Tomlinson for the utility infield spot.
