We're talking current coaches. Les Miles (2007) and Bill Self (2008) both have national championships under their belts. Thus making Kansas the only school in the Big 12 with a coach who has a basketball and football championship.. maybe in the entire NCAA to be honest but I'm too lazy to look

No I didn't hear any of those stories, I can believe it though. I do remember hearing his 1st year @ N.D. he very rarely let 2nd stringers get any playing time. I heard that & knew he was a lousy CFB coach.

At least Miles won a title. Weis did jack at Notre Dame. His best season resulted in a beat down in the Sugar Bowl.

Also a very valid point, but there is still tons of talent and Les is charismatic enough to get in some of these kids heads. Remember, Les isn’t at LSU, he can’t be in that same kick my best players off the team mindset. (Excluding the atrocious team vote debacle, because he should never have even really been on the team.) Miles kicked off great players at LSU, possibly costing him a legit run at a 2012 title with Tyrann Mathieu for something most schools would dust under the rug. Can’t flip out over kids smoking pot if you want to be on the same level as OU etc.
