He saw some dude on the side of the street, stopped, rolled down his window, and asked "How do I get back to 435?". The man replied "Stop eating".

Miles to Colorado makes a lot more sense to me.

He got his true coaching chops at Colorado under McCartney in the early to mid-80s when they were re-building that program.

His style, presence, and humor would definitely fit in Boulder. Kansas is an absolute graveyard for coaches. Why end your career there?
