As Mayo was unfairly let go, today.
I dont know if that will come true.
but I think Vrabel is tailor-made to be the Pats HC.
actually thought it would happen last year

What was unfair about it? Honestly, I see it more as unfair to hire him in the first place as I don't think he was close to being ready as a head coach.
And I don’t even think they gave the White man an interview. Where’s their Rooney rule? Hell a redskin may’ve even wanted a chance

I mentioned it in yesterday's game thread that if teams aren't interviewing your assistant coaches, they're probably not good. That holds true for the better teams in the league, generally if you have good assistants that pay attention to detail and the big picture, teams that do it right go after them. Those that don't do it correctly hire retreads. Like the Saints with Allen...etc

Lol, I wasn’t talking about the football team. I’m trying to give the white liberals what they want.

What is that, nobody qualified gets hired, just people of special class?

Didn't expect the Belichik replacement hire to last long. They never do when replacing a legend.

He never shoudkbe been hired and the league gave the pats a gift

Vrabel makes sense to NE but Jets could over spend for him cause the 17yr old said so.

How often do internally made promotions to head coaches even work out for teams? It seems like most successful head coaches are usually found from outside organizations.

Seifert is the only one I recall...and even that went down the chitter. To be fair, there were plenty of guys that could've done very well from that staff, it just so happened he was the tenured guy that was still there and got the gig.

That 2nd part. I was shocked when they hired him.

Same with Antonio Pierce despite how he fared last season when he took over.

Any rumblings about who is all getting pink slips in Vegas?
