Curious why you think this Brasky. I'd say RB was pretty solid aside from some of the dead weight upper classmen there. Which was dead weight before he got there also.

This is actually the only year the Ron Brown has ever coached RBs. But I was impressed with what he did considering that.

Yeah I did a poor job of making my point...Beck had them last year and he had dead weight...those same guys didn't do anything this year either.

Brown did a good job in his first year there getting those freshmen ready to go and they did contribute.

Barney cotton moving to the athletic department and no longer coaching
Ron Brown is gone (possibly by his choice)
Unknown who other new coach will be to replace Brown

This quite possibly might just be all the big moves we need to get to the next level...

I jest think that he is not nearly experienced enough to be running a defense even if it's just in name. Maybe in 5 years he'll be ready.

There's not a million josh mcdaniels types out there. In fact they're very rare. And what I mean by that is a very young coach who can handle play calling and running a defense.

Coach papuchis would be spread too thin if he was DC and recruiting coordinator. And who is our special teams guy now?

I don't believe he's qualified right now. On paper he's certainly not. The DC job at Nebraska is serious business, sirs.
