look we will get a new HC and staff and we will go from there .

and believe me the washington press corp wont let anything be handled adroitly

they openly root for our flat failure

What qualified HC would want this job? We may very well get zorn II.

I agree about the press.

Its not really a chance if you walk in knowing that the owner has a tendency to undermine his coaches and a player has more pull with the owner than the coach. At that point, its just a healthy paycheck.

RG3 has much, much more value to the redskins than Shanahan. He should have more pull.

I stayed with him as long as I could, but it's just time. For so many reasons.

The real problem in all this is, guys like Rak, LFB and Moss (veteran team leaders) are backing Shanahan in all this. Thats going to weigh heavy if he is fired and goes else where. Sure LFB and Moss are likely gone no matter what, but I could see Rak rolling to Houston if Shanahan ends up there. And other potential free agents will ask these guys for the Skinny and weigh in on if they want to be in a locker room if the perception is that the HC isnt really in charge.

Yup. Same issue with any potential HC.

What ends up happening is the only FAs that come here are the ones looking for a big payday. We all know how that works out.

again lets wait till the facts come out

so far with Shanahan he has been fairly hands off

i will never be apart of the "we are all doomed forever " crowd however

we will get a new HC, staff and maybe GM and we will work from there

things happen for a reason

How do you know, they're backing Shanahan?

I haven't read any quotes that said the team leaders are backing Shanahan.

Kurt cousins is the only guy on record that I can find that public ally said he "loved playing for Shanahan."

Quote ? Link?

Logan
“I do worry about [what might happen]. Shanahan is a guy I have a ton of respect for. I want to play at a level that is going to keep him here. Every time we have a game like this, I feel I’m not helping him keep his job.”

Orakpo
I'm a guy that's backing [Shanahan] 100 percent

this seems to be the consensus on twitter ...

people also connecting the dots between Mike Shanahan and Mike Silver from his time with the 49ers. with the story about Griffin not wanting to watch game film.

I believe Griffin doesn't want to watch film or work on fundamentals. Many young players are like that and no I'm not forgiving of it.

I have been saying this for weeks...he needs to study the playbook and film more.
