I lived in Washtenaw county for 19 years, and the Law, Ann Arbor,Ypsi cops and county cops dont take shit from anybody, kinda like CA state troopers but not as bad, and from what ive heard from friends that still live there that nothings changed. If this is the kids 1st offense 1 or to yrs probation. If not he just might end up in the Hog Back Hilton for a little while. What a punk ass, pussy move the kid did. He deserved to be suspended from the team

Unless you are a star offensive lineman who is about to go in the first round. Then you can beat the hell out of anyone despite eye witness accounts, being identified by the victims, and admitting it to the cops. You don't even get your name put as a suspect.

Our kicker, Gibbons, was booted out of the University just because a girl accused him of r*pe -- yet no official charges were ever filed.

He was kicked off the team THREE YEARS AFTER the alleged incident. The only reason he was kicked off is because someone rose a stink over how this was never even investigated and he was kicked off the team with only two games left in his career. Don't make it sound like Hoke was quick to react.

Let's face it, Michigan has not done a very good job in getting a solid kicker for years. You would have won quite a few more games if you had guys who knew wich foot they wanted to use. That has been the weakest area for the Wolverines for well over a decade.
