I think Randel could use another year in school as well. Sure, he will be a contributor in the NBA, but he just seems very raw and if he washed out of the NBA after a few years I wouldn't be shocked.

Staying never hurt (although I am a Gator and am now thinking to myself WTF are you thinking... we should want him to leave!)

Randle is so big all he needs is a little bump to get his shot off, he can get away with anything.

Randle is taking over now... great 1st half.

I love seeing good games this time of year... (except if my team is playing and I want a big lead).

Alka-Seltzer time for UK and Mich fans!

His shots are very awkward as well.. so between his size and power, he is hard to time for a block without fouling him.

Yup; Kentucky has it figured out. get the ball inside. Michigan is great every place else; just not under the basket. Also Harrison is doing a respectable job on Stauskas which does not surprise me as Stauskas tends to watch the play and make a move to an open spot, which is fine, but it does nothing to tire out the defender. Keep doing that and Stauskas will get impatient and start launching difficult shots.

I am scared that Chris Walker will leave early and make a stupid decision. It is clear from watching him this year that he will probably be a lottery pick 3 years from now as a Junior. But they are also saying he would be a 1st round pick today...

Doesn't appear to be the smartest guy... but he would be making a huge mistake if he didn't stay in school and improve dramatically.

LOL; he doesn't strike me as an academic "world beater". No way he is ready for the NBA, as he is not even ready for D1 basketball. Billy can only put him in for very short periods of time and the better teams go right at him.

He has 15 in the first half. That's respectable?

You still here? You know soooo little about the game, I'm not going to bother giving instructions.

right... and then he had the nerve to give that speech to his team saying the reason they were ranked number 1 is because everyone wanted to see them fail. I don't have a huge problem with his recruiting as much as I don't like that he always just gets to walk away from every school that he leaves in ruins.
you sure are a couple of whiny ass bltches. Why don't you just shut those yaps and enjoy a good game by two good teams giving their all for their teams. Do this shlt after the game.

From a non-UK fan unbiased observation:

Do the refs have some type of vendetta aimed at Julius Randle?

It was the Devil... I mean Calipari promising these guys millions based on his past players 1 and done history.

I hate what he does... I respect the legacy of UK basketball, but don't like the way he builds teams. He is trying to basically buy championships every year.
Jesus Christ....give it a rest...

Yeah, but right now the NBA scouts are saying we only have 2 players that would be drafted in the 1st round... Young and Walker (for his potential).

As dumb as he is... I can see him opting out for a quick $500k signing bonus and then failing miserably in the pros since he can't play D and is awkward offensively.

Kids have done dumber things.

Looking forward to the half time adjustments; Michigan has to clog the lane and free up their shooters. Kentucky needs to take care of the ball and get it inside. Soooo many back door slams missed by Harrison. Johnson and Randle have to be utilized to the point where the defense collapses on them. Great job by Michigan keeping Young out of the game.

Jesus Christ....give it a rest...

Meaning what? That is my first post on the subject in probably 2 years. Is one post considered too much?

Give it a rest is usually a saying reserved for someone who "harps" on a topic.

Sorry... I don't see the connection here.

Yeah, Young was the x factor in my opinion coming in... he got loose a couple of time.

I think we knew UK would pound it down low... and Michigan would shoot threes...
