couldn't be two more opposite styles. Mich is a shooting team and UK is nothing but dunks and layups.
I honestly don't think WCS is as huge of a loss as everyone is making it out to be..
It is if you watched UK all year.
He does a a lot of intangibles. He is their best low post defender. He also is quick enough to disrupt guards on switches on the exterior... and tall enough to disrupt shots when they get by him.
Their other 7 footers is slow and lethargic and can't do those things.
Cauley-Stein single handedly won a couple games late for them this year with his defense and rebounding.
Not sure they really need WCS's low post defense. If you haven't noticed yet -- UM rarely throws the ball into the post. The offense is run from the perimeter and driving to the hoop and kicking it back outside.
Michigan has to start playing better defense.
Well the other stiff just made up for WCS
That is what everyone has been saying all year. UM doesn't foul too many times at the rim. That is why they commit so few fouls per game. They don't have the depth to get into foul trouble.
Randel is just very RAW... what kind of shot was that? Lateral hook while running full speed lateral and taking contact.
He takes some UGLY shots... half the time I think he throws it up there and just tries to get his own rebound for the put back more than trying to make the initial shot.
Morgan is a lot better than people give him credit for. He is playing against taller guys pretty much every game and he holds his own.
