Results oriented much?

Anybody with a brain knows that Alabama has a better chance of winning the game in regulation than Auburn given that they have the ball at the 39 or 40 yard line. The second benefited Alabama. Auburn simply made a great play.

That depends on how you define "great play." It was pure luck that Bama had nobody on that side of the field to make the tackle. Pure luck.

Now you will tell me that that last second TD against UGA wasn't pure luck? Auburn should be at least a 2 loss team.

I don't think Auburn won on a lucky play against Alabama. I think there are Alabama fans that would even agree with me on that.

Yes yes yes we all know in Sakau Imagiantionland that Kentucky would be undefeated in the Big Ten with an average MoV of around 135.

Exactly. With the great defenses in the SEC this year (NOT), heck, nobody else could have gone 7-5 in that conference. Yeah, we hear him all right.

OMG, here we go again with this "THE SEC TEAMS ARE ALL GREAT!" crap. Give it up, will you? You had 3 really good teams in the SEC. That's it. And you lost to a team that wasn't that good, nearly lost to another one that was mediocre except for a miracle play. I'd take MSU's clean wins over that any day.

The Iron Bowl wasnt luck, just a great play. Now the UGA game was luck but that happens.

You made my argument in a nutshell. Thank you. Auburn should be a 2 loss team if were not for that lucky fluke catch at the end of the game.

Michigan State had no wins on fluke plays. They won 12 games decisively. Auburn most certainly cannot say that.

But do the pollsters take things like that into consideration? Not on your life. This is the great SEC we are talking about here. :L

LOL@ Michigan St kicking tOSU to the curb. They were up by 3, then scored a late TD.

tOSU scored 24 straight, Mich St came back with 17.

A lot of people are looking at final scores and not delving deeper into the games. Michigan State had a few ugly wins and OSU obviously was a nail biter game. Also Notre Dame was not as bad given the situation. But we didn't create 15 threads about how we were robbed by the officials(granted there is really only two MSU fans on this board so that would be extra lame)

I agree. That is like looking at tOSU's Northwestern win and saying it was dominated by tOSU bc they won by 10.

Dude having watched that game it makes me sick to my stomach knowing you guys lost a BCS title game on that shit. Seriously some of the worst reffing in recent memory AND it was B10 officials doing it!!! :L

You're assuming that the committee would use BCS rankings, don't be so sure.

We won't know until we know but I do believe they would take the team that was #1 for 12 weeks and lost to the current #2 team the way they did and 2 time defending champ. I think that much more then them using the BCS rankings.

I'm tired of people saying the refs screwed Michigan st. There were 10 penalties called on State, 8 on ND.

Mostly, MSU's play calling screwed Mich St. They were driving, got cute and threw a halfback pass that was picked off for the only turnover of the day and ultimately lead to ND winning the game. The refs didn't lose MSU the game.

Of the 10 penalties MSU 5 were pass interference and 3 were very weak at best. Bottom line is we came into the game not knowing who are starting QB would be and had an opportunity to win the game but didn't. The QB situation falls squarely on Dantonio and Bollman.

The two best teams are in the nc game. Michigan State has a good team, but not on the level of Florida St and Auburn.

I disagree Oscar. MSU could beat Auburn, I dont think anyone is touching FSU though ( onoy team Id give a chance is Bama ). Auburn runs all over people but I guarantee they wouldnt be doing that to MSU, at least not to the extent they did the last half the year to the SEC teams they played. Auburn would probably still get 250-300 on the ground but I dont see them scoring more than 28-31 against MSU. Itd be a game. Not saying MSU would win but itd be close.

There were 4 PI calls. 75% of them weren't questionable.
