Amazing move. Good young talent on a cheap 1-year deal that doesn't hurt us long-term. If he develops than great, if not then he's on a different team next year.

I'd like to sign UD for the exact same contract quite honestly so that we have the veteran presence and we give him back some money that he actually sacrificed. Not pointing any fingers.....

Move would tank the Heat this year and allow them to get a lotto pick, possible high lotto pick, in what is supposedly the best draft since 2003.

I've felt that was the only viable option all along.
There's just no way to prevent a reoccurrence and if he plays even 1 minute it could set us back 2 years.

Also why he needed to let Wade walk.
Allows him to shoot for 2 whales next summer vs 1.

We've all been saying this since free agency. We already have a solid young nucleus in Winslow, Whiteside, Richardson, and Weber is looking good as well. We need maturation with that group and another high pick to sell to upcoming free agents. Pat's been down this road before, but Bosh will not play another NBA minute in a Miami Heat jersey.

Same here. That's going to be a bit rough on me. I hate that he is gone, even though I think it is probably the best move overall for the franchise and I absolutely trust Riley to put Miami back together.

Rondo, Wade, Butler. I really don't like the move for him basketball wise. None of the perimeter players can shoot 3s. Crowded lanes in his future. I think his numbers take a huge hit and he is forced to opt in for 2017 because he won't play up to the contract.

I miss my boy already.
