I don't think any of us is saying that. We're saying the game slipped way in the first half of the 4th when Spo kept his 3 best players tonight on the bench in favor of 3 bench players who played poorly

YES!!!! You got it. That changed the entire momentum. However, Wade, Bosh and Winslow played poorly and the team could not shoot FTs and turned it over way too much. Lazy night cost us.

This is what happens when you keep in a bad unit far too long in the 4th. Green and McRoberts were useless and he insisted on keeping them in for the first 5 minutes of the quarter while resting our best player tonight for the first 5 minutes.

Doesn't make any sense and it allowed Minnesota to come back

I have to disagree here.

Besides the turnovers and missed FT's, both Bosh ( not the norm) and Wade (becoming the norm) were horrible all night.
Whiteside was a bit gassed at the end of the 3rd.
He needed some minutes to freshen up.

I knew we were done when we came out of the timeout down 5, still with plenty of time left, and Wade throw up a shitty, rushed, low % baseline fadeaway.

If this summer comes down to Whiteside or Wade getting paid, it won't be a tough choice.

After quite a few days off an underwhelming performance for the Heat - disappointing, yet not surprising

In the back of my head I thought this could happen, but figured they would be smart enough to understand it was important for it to not happen.

During these off days, the Heat as a group as well as individual players have had several events, appearances, distractions, etc.. that's never good..

It was the same way all through the championship era of the big 3 - whenever they had such performances where they stunk it up in certain aspects of the game - the next day, rather than be practicing -- they were out doing their own worthless shit.

However, if they are out doing team-community activities, I can't be mad at them - often times when they do that - they have a practice before or after or some sort of walk-through. Its a home-stand, so practice should be available no matter what.

Disturbing to not that only Hassan and Gerald were the only ones to practice/stay around extra time while everyone else apparently felt they didn't need to put in extra work after a horrible performance the night before.

Now, as for tonight, the Kings could be another team that gives us trouble if we don't put them away early as we could -- of course, the cool thing to do here would be to blame the coach in that case - because, why blame the guys on the court with the ball with control of the outcome of the game?

Anyhow, we need to put them away early or will be asking for trouble. Minimize the play of Rondo and Cousins and they will be good to go.

Lets see if Hassan and the Heat worked on their FTs by the time the game comes around.
