Should Udonis Haslem be in Miami Heat mix in Game 2 of NBA Finals? - Sun Sentinel

This question in the latest Ask Ira seems like a joke. Should UD be in the mix for Game 2? Um, yeah. If they want to win and have a chance in this series , they need to remove the useless scrub battier from the rotation and insert UD, JJ and Beas.

Starting tonight and for the rest of the series(if the Heat want to win) - The inactive list should feature Justin Hamilton and Scrub Battier - its no knock on JH, but for the Heat to have a chance they need to have the 13 guys available to them that best give them a chance to win the game and activating G.O. and Beas would give the Heat 13 quality players that can offer them something unlike scrub battier who is a liability.

Looks like Spo is going against the wishes of his stars again - Hamilton and Beasley inactive -- Oden is active... Rashard again starting.. Beas has done his part this season with a “make-good” contract that the Heat gave him, yet this is how he is rewarded - he is deactivated in the most important series in favor of a scrub like battier... Hopefully, at least Oden gets in the game and hopefully scrub battier is left out of the game so we can actually win it

Reason why Heat and LBJ is struggling with consistency so far - is because he is doing his best impressions of D-wade, - taking bad, soft shots expecting to get foul calls - he needs to be minded that this is the finals, the refs will let them play and he needs to be more aggressive if he wants calls

No disrespect to them - but the Spurs are doing nothing special on either end -- its just a lack of so many things on the part of the Heat... I have said this many times - regardless of the strengths and weakness of the opponent, if the Heat dont play their game, things wont go well for them... they have to make sure they dictate the flow of the game - no reason for any team to force them into playing their game differently

Birdman cant be eating shit and taking jumpers - he shouldnt play if he isnt going to do that - And he has to be more disciplined when going for rebounds - he needs to time jumps better because he misses out on the rebounds and fouls at times cuz of it

Tied at the half but should not be the case - Heat shouldnt be pleased with this at all at this point. They are lucky to be tied at this point. They have to get their act together and put this one away in the third quarter - for them to win it will have to be by a wide margin - they arent playing good enough to win in a close game

If it is over than that would just be stupid and just another sign the Heat are waving the white flag on the series. JJ is a capable player - to give up on him this soon would just be dumb.
