Wouldnt you know it? Diva James has officially quit - Leaving the court ... Cant wait until this diva era is over. He ONLY played 35 minutes - he shouldve played 38-45 games if really wanted to give his team a chance.

On a brighter note, we are a game closer to the end of scrub battier and sending him off in style by losing in the finals and a game closer to the big divas era...#silver lining

your an idiot if you blame the coach for this one when clearly the best player cost us this game from start to finish

Whatever clown....without Lebron we only have one title. Spolestra blew this one. We better admit it and take the fall for this one. We should have given Lebron some minutes off when we went up 7. Spolestra blew it, the bad defensive habits from earlier in the season caught up with them. The Heat's streak of winning after a game one loss will be significantly tested.

Sad how LBJ bitching out of the game and spo over using scrub Battier made great performances by other key guys on the team go to waste

Yes I'm aware scrub Battier was plus 1 on that irrelevant stat that's why we lost ... He got losing time . The heat quit when he came in

Not true home boy....the Heat were one point better with him on the floor....just bustin your chops. This one could be a very tough series for Miami.....They played great for 3 and 1/2 quarters and lost by 15. Losing Lebron demorialized them. Should have run offense through Bosh once Lebron went out. Another bad mistake by Spolestra besides substitution patterns, leaving Chalmers in the game where he was garbage, and calling his timeouts too early.

If diva James and the heat continue to feel the AC is a problem for game 2 ... They should protest against starting the game until it's fixed ... But you can bet they wouldn't make the excuses if they had thijdz go their way and win ... But the heat is great at making excuse

I just love all the excuses people are making for diva james and the Heat already - pointing out that every time the Heat won the finals they lost game 1 -never ceases to amaze the measures people take to make excuses for these clowns... never ceases to amaze the lengths they take to make excuses for themselves. having to listen to the haters on ABC sucks but glad we dont have to listen to Heat apologist #1 in tony fiorentino nightly make excuses for this team - claiming this team makes no excuses yet they do. Not a single Spurs player seem to be affected by the temp in the arena - at no point did they complain about the temps - and the Heat didnt really start complaining about it until things turned bad for them in the game... go figure...adversity arised and the Heat choked... again. Lets see if they man up or continue to flop and make excuses

Another stat that led to the Heat loss 29 3’s attempted to only 11 FTs... they settled from start to finish and thats why they lost... but they will blame their lack of aggression on a malfunctioning AC, of course

NBA VP said AC is fixed for game 2 and should not be a problem.

The hope would be for LBJ to quit being a diva and respond in necessary fashion to all this - but he lowered himself to such a low level by bitching out of the game and making excuses. Again, it wasnt a problem until the Heat started to lose and eventually lost the lead. It wasnt a problem before, and the Spurs certainly werent complaining even with a guy like Tony Parker with a leg injury basically.

Like I said, if it is a problem before game 2, protest the start of the game until its fixed. otherwise shut up and play.

I digress - As I was saying, you would hope LBJ quit being a diva and responded accordingly but hard to believe that will happen. I also find hard to believe that he asked Spo to come back in and that Spo said no, im sure it was the other way around.

One last thing on the notion the heat “fell apart without LBJ” Wrong. The Heat fell apart because of LBJ being a bitch not because he was out.

You are an idiot...without Lebron, we are the Bulls or Hawks.....Spolestra may have cost the Heat this game, this series, and maybe even Lebron if he does not take the sword in this one.....Down 1-0 with a must win. Seems like Lebron may have more than cramps...

We're not a championship team without LeBron, but we're definitely better than the Rose-less Bulls or Hawks.

Also, Paolo's an idiot, ignore him.

The latest Ask Ira has folks asking for Beasley to be activated - especially if Oden wont even be used. And an article where Wade suggest he wants more depth in the rotation - meaning playing more guys - Such as JJ, UD and Beas. Beas may be a liability on defense but he certainly brings more to the table than scrub battier. UD is always alert for rebounds. JJ can spread the floor with the 3pt shot. You can still activate Greg Oden, deactivate Justin Hamilton and Scrub Battier and the Heat will have 13 quality players available to them that they can use. The only way the Heat will win this series is if they use ALL of their best players. As long as scrub battier is part of the rotation, he is taking away from the Heat being able to use better guys like UD, JJ, G.O and Beas. Lets see if Spo pays attention to Wade’s request.

Miami Heat guard Mario Chalmers knows he must step forward in NBA Finals - Sun Sentinel

Should Michael Beasley be active, on call for Miami Heat? - Sun Sentinel

His players realize that Spolestra blew the game with poor substitution patterns...plain and simple. Obviously, Paula has never played organized sports or would know that a cramp is not something you can play through.

Only a pussy and an idiot - as yourself, would blame something as stupid as “ substitution patterns” as the reason they lost - all in effort to blame the coach and give the players a free pass as all apologist on this board do.

LBJ had no cramps - he had a vaginal strain, which is something diva wade suffer from often this year. The lack of AC didnt seem to be bothering the Spurs players - and it didnt seem to become a major issue for diva james and the Heat until they lost the lead... so it wasnt cramps it was just them being a bunch of pussies.. And just so you know, you need not play sports to know what it is like to play/ or get through life with cramps -- I know how it is... you just suck it up and play through it...the only one at fault for the so called “cramps” and the effects it had on him is LBJ himself - He knows he has a history with that, so he should be responsible enough to take preventive measures... Hes a grown man... when he wants to be.
