What is Ray Allen going to do if the Heat win their third? Is he going to retire or do like Derek Fisher and postpost the inevitable?

I was wondering the same thing. gut says he retires. he is 38. but he is still playing at such a high level and even at 39 he would be useful even if it were only on offense to spread the floor for short periods of time.

I think he keeps playing.

He recently had the house he is renting (50k/month) appraised (obviously he is thinking about buying it).
That means he either wants to keep playing or permanently move to Coral Gables.
If he can bank another X amount of millions, doing what he loves, why not?

Rather than settle for jumpers, LBJ needs to pass the ball up and reset the offense so he can get the ball in a better spot - settling in this series cant happen

Chalmers mainly because of foul trouble - his head hasnt been in the game early on - He is trying to do a bad impression of LBJ and doing too much with the ball and coming up empty - that caused early tunover. I expect Chalmers to get better

And Bosh will have to bring some sort of inside game if he wants to make himself useful in this series - If he stays perimeter-oriented, we will be in trouble
