Bam was a dnp-cd & Kelly got 18 minutes. Neither player complained

It speaks to their character . It also is a good example of the type of players that this organization wants and goes after . They’ve simply bought into the team concept .

Hassan is just a pussy

If Hassan is not there best player, who is? It does not matter. Heat not handling this well. If they want to trade him, they are doing themselves no favors by notmanaging the situation as this just drives his value down. They had to fine him, but this has been brewing and has not been managed well. If we were winning it would be one thing, but him sitting and then ya losing to some really bad teams gives him much credence.

We are playing to other teams strengths and not our own. Such is life when you have an untouchable coach who gets too much credit for winning 50 percent of the time with 3 of the 25 best players in the game at the time he had them plus one Shame Battier. Lebron proved with his two coaches that what Spolestra did should not be overstated.

Did I call it or what ? It’s what’s needed to happen since his first ever outburst with this team to set a tone . The heat have simply put up with too much from this cry baby .

Now , the question becomes will her realizes his wrongdoing or will he continue to butch and cry and fail to show responsibility and accountability for his actions . Will he realize , finally , that , he can play a big role on the minutes he gets in a game by how he performs on the court and carries himself in certain situations.. or will he , and his fan club continue to make excuses and look to shift the blame elsewhere when things aren’t going as he and his fan club see fit ?

In the mean time , I’m sure he and his fan club have their feelings hurt over the team taking disciplinary action on him rather than just giving him a pass as they had to this point .

Dragic is better than him....so is Olynyk. Richardson is hands down the best 2 way player on the team. When JJ is playing like this, he is also better than this version of Whiteside.....now if we had the Whiteside from last season then I would agree with you.

Whiteside has been a disappointment this year.

Maybe if Whiteside had a consistent post game then they wouldn't have to play to other teams strengths. Sorry but Whiteside just isn't good enough in the post to have him out there when he is a defensive liability due to a team going small.

The reality is Bam and Kelly both fit in this NBA more than Hassan. Kelly is a stretch 5 and can guard the opposing 5 when teams go small and as for Bam, he is so much better than Hassan on defense. He is so good that it allows Miami to switch screens if needed when he is in the game.

Not sure what you mean by Miami not handling it well? At the end of the day, the goal is to win basketball games so they're not going to leave him out there if the opponent has a stretch 4 playing center who is a 40% 3 point shooter. The only person who's not handling it well is Hassan. He made comments months ago that came off as selfish as he made it very clear that he didn't agree with the Heat improving the roster last summer by drafting Bam and signing Kelly.

Against most teams in the league ending the game with JJ/Kelly as the 4/5 is the way to go. Can't have Whiteside out there as a defensive liability.

You are one friendly , quality guy — I must say despite our endless differences. I sincerely hope that one day you realize interacting with that troll is an insult to your intelligence.

It doesn’t even have to do with me not liking the pussy bitch or not — but his latest comments should add to the fact that the guy is simply incapable and beyond unwilling to analyze the facts of an aspect of the game / team .

I mean his inability to be critical of the big pussy when 99.9% of people who have commented on this issue not named Hassan Whiteside — all of which agree the guy is in the wrong , is as good as an example you should need about his lack of knowledge— more importantly, his lack of objectivity, which is essential in a discussion .

The days when he was off the board and people thought he stopped existing were some of the best and are now truly missed

The league confirming Wade is another vagina always fishing for fouls when he goes to the basket rather than trying to score — they don’t fall for that shit and confirm the correct call was made

A couple of interesting points you made. First, Hassan was very good last year. He has been hurt a fair amount this year, but do you think it is coincidence that he has gotten worse as he has gotten less minutes? We started down this road of sitting him at crunch time and over time that gets to people especially as we are losing games to the likes of Sacramento and the Nets when our highest paid player is not out on the floor. When Hassan was out, you saw what big boy centers did to the Heat.

Yes, he was childish and lost his s#%^ but this was brewing. At least, he cares. Also, if the Heat are ready to move on then they should not shoot themselves on the foot by not managing this better. A Fine was warranted. However, they have lost some key games without Hassan in there. Wade was 5-16 and he played 8 more minutes at 36 than Hassan. Double standard. It does not fly.

So pigeon, keep s}#%^+g on our key players just like you did during the Big 3/Battier era and keep bashing Wade who has been the franchise and without whom we don’t have 3 titles. You ran off everybody else, but some of us will comment and call out your beloved Spolestra, aka your man crush, when he screws things up. He is far from perfect. Read Ira and some of the points he makes. When you do not by play your highest paid player and lose at home to the dregs of the league, then you have some explaining to do. But keep giving him a pass.

Get where you're coming from but spo never said Hassan was benched due to bad play. He made it clear that it was a match up problem since brooklyn went extremely small.

And all I am saying is that such strategy has not worked out well against the NETS. We went 1-3 against them. Maybe we should have gone big. It could not have gone worse right? We lost the game anyway and created a storm on the team.

Nah not really. Fewer minutes has meant fewer shots. Last year he was just under 13 shots and this year he is just under 11. His shot selection is crappy at times though.

Hassan is needed for sure when we go up against the big boy centers but there's so few of them in the league because everyone is going this small ball route.

If we kept going big, the game doesn't get to OT and we likely lose by double digits. We allowed 13 points in the final 10 minutes of the 4th after moving JJ to C so it did help a bit.

Maybe. We do know we lost the game playing their game. Hassan was minus one on the night.

True but Hassan should be mad at Olnyk more than Spo IMO. Kelly is the reason he didn't return to the game

Fair enough. Kelly was -7. Seems like we might be moving on soon unless Riley can right the ship. Just hate that we bought high and may sell low.

Yep Kelly was bad early in the 4th which led to the quick switch to JJ. If he was productive as he usually is, that likely means Hassan comes back in the game

At the end of the day, the Heat lost another game that they should have won down the stretch and it may cost them the 7th seed which likely means an early playoff exit. We are losing to the Nets at home while the Bucks beat the Nuggets on the road and to 8th we go.

Here he goes with the weak ass +\- argument to try and support his baseless Hassan points .

Riley/ Spo and the Heat made Hassan into the player we have seen him be on a good night— just as the heat did with wade until he became a pussy diva. Hassan /wade and you should be thankful for that. On other teams they would be average at best .

If you care about Hassan more than you do the team , which wouldn’t surprise me since you are a troll — you should hope Hassan gets his act together with the heat because he would go back to being a nobody on any other team .

Oh , by the way , your continuous lack of objectivity in favor of supporting the giant pussy speaks volumes about the troll you are . Fakest heat fan of all times . Unmatched
