So we're ranked 5th best in OPP FG% defense, 6th best in OPP 3 PT%, and 6th best in DEF EFF. In other words we have a damn good defense.
We are ranked 29TH in Pace while GSW is ranked 2nd.
The key to tmr's game is playing up to our defensive statistics and the game must be played closer to our PACE than the Warriors PACE. If we play at their pace the game will be over before halftime
That is kind of baffling to me, with the pieces Miami has. Dragic, Bosh and Whiteside, would likely benefit from a faster pace. Deng and Wade probably are more suited to the half-court. But whatever works I guess.
We only run with the 2nd unit. Our starters like to play walk the ball up the court basketball
Haven't seen a ton of Miami games, but how has that been working? What's Miami's go-to lineup during crunch time? Is it more catered towards slowing the pace further and grinding it out?

The Heat run the same defense Riley ran in 90s. Spolestra does not run a good offense other than off of out of bounds plays other than let Wade create. Without Whiteside, expect a beat down like Spurs vs. Heat in 14 Finals. Our best offensive set is our Miami Raptors line up. In crunch time, only cover Bosh and Wade.
my bad bks, looks at though we posted the same thing at virtually the same time. At least we both got the potential good news - does that increase our chances in this game any?
