IRA asked Spolestra the tough question of how does it feel squandering home games vs teams on second night of back to back and whether it could come back to haunt them. I give the coach credit in saying that the focus is forward, but I think he realizes that we squandered some opportunities early to be more games above 500.

Agreed but looking back means nothing now - Forward thinking is the only way to go win or lose -- Until next game

Sad thing is I'm not even mad about last night because I totally expected it. Knicks are a solid team and we can't win 4 in a row.

Anyway even though I'm disappointed in our performance last night, I did request for the team to be 21-14 or 22-13 heading into the roadtrip and that's what we are. Just got to aim for a .500 record

So, Andres what do the "computers" say about the Heat with the loss last night? Where are we in the BCS standings after a home loss? I know you are big on this crap.

Who should and shouldn't play in the next game since you seem to think this is something that should be pre-determined as opposed to letting things play out before making this and other decisions.

Well said -- your expectations seemed realistic based on several different factors and thats how it played out. Look at it this way, we go into the road trip winning 3 out of our last 4 -- does that make it better?

Yeah it does. I had us winning 3 of 4 anyway. I just thought the game we lose would be either Washington or Indy.

ASK IRA: Will lack of shooting limit Heat's possibilities?

The defense was terrible as was the shot selection for the Heat last night - this whole lacking " shooters" crap is overblown - not saying the roster is perfect, because it is not -- but when this team plays its game they don't get themselves in the trouble they did last night of never having a chance of getting back in the game.

Our defense was terrible and then we decided to get into a 3pt shootout with the Knicks thats recipe to lose between the Heat and just about any team - We have to do it defensively that fuels everything for us offensively - drive to the basket and take better shots - don't panic and start taking outside shots just because the other team is - take care of the fucking ball and just play your game.

Some have said having Amare or Birdman on the team is a waste because we don't play them as much as some may desire to see them play -- I think the guys we really should consider doing away with is Stokes and Richardson - or at least just Stokes since J-Rich has a little more upside - replace him with a " shooter" if the Heat can find one via trade or FA and go from there -- the Heat are obviously not ready or willing to go with a full blown youth movement yet so no need for too many young guys at this point

Thats the unpredictability about things -- though some think things can be pre-determined and workout to perfection

Up until this season, or at least for now - Wade would have given him a run for his money - In all seriousness, the Heat at first were saying that this wasn't a new injury or anything of the sort - have to wonder if maybe it is and they diagnosed incorrectly - or the one I'm leaning towards most --The Heat knew all along how bad/serious the injury was but have not been wanting to disclose for a reason or another -- in recent week Ira has mentioned him participating in practices - be it partially or fully - so he must be making progress of some sort -- Thats why the Heat have often listed him as "rehabilitative recovery" which is code for the Heat maintenance program crap - meaning just sitting a guy out for rest until they feel the need to use him - They did it with Amare early on, Birdman - and endless times with Wade

For those of you who may be familiar -- NBA live 16 or 2k16? And why? Which of the two matches with reality most - in all , if not in most of the categories?
