Bosh wants to go to the All Star game bad......and Paulo look at the statstics. Teams are better at home than they are on the road. Reasons include familiarity, not being as tired from travel, and the home court giving the team extra energy...

Ive seen the stats -- I know what the say - my argument has always simply been that they don't mean as much as you make them out to be - they aren't the deciding factor to a win or a loss as you seem to claim they are - as you always seem to point out the same nonsense when we are winning or losing at home -- there are many more factors and much more important factors that contribute

We need to just forefit these games now. No need to waste energy when we know we're going to lose these game. 5 tries now at a 4 game winning streak and we failed every time.

We should just be grateful we got breaks against the Pacers. Hassan in the game now so Lopez back in to dominate our boy who is NOT into the game and just committed his 5th turnover....LOL. Spolestra and his "feel" for the game....he plays Hassan tonight when he should not....

He is schooling our rookie tonight....Bosh playing Hero ball.......0 for 12 from 3 with 7 to go and down 11 with only 69 points scored is embarrassing. Oh well, we are who we are....a decent team that is good on defense and well below average on offense in a tough conference who might be a 2 seed or an 8 seed or could even miss the playoffs if things go poorly.

Wade has his moments of Hero ball far too often -- Bosh and the others our allowed their night too

As for your seeding comment - not going to say much about that other than you change your stance on that with every win or loss - if after this loss we go on a Golden State type streak you will probably say we are a locked 1 seed and NBA champs... Simmer down - its only one game - it means little to our playoff fate - more games yet to come

Ironically, two of those occurrences were at home which Andres thinks is a big deal - go figure

Hassan finally out....don't get this line up. Down 15 and no 3 point threat out there besides Bosh. And Paolo, I am all over the place on this team because they are not predictable. Shame we lost this one going into our brutal road stretch. At least Bosh is getting his points....LOL

This just goes to show that your " feel" crap towards the heat coaching staff is just that, crap - who was to say this was going to be a night Hassan shouldn't have played? Nothing is for certain until the ball is tip and even after, nothing is for certain

Man...you are daft and obstinate.....Only two teams in the NBA have better road records than home records this season....just two....the Celtics and T-Wolves. The other teams have better home records and must are substantially better at home!!

Just the facts, but if you want to keep thinking that being at home versus the road makes no difference in basketball that just keep smoking what you are smoking.

Yes, they are unpredictable -- most teams outside of the Warriors are - every game is unpredictable - I have been saying it all year but you don't get it - you put way too much stock on this road/home back to back crap - You never know what you are going to get from the Heat -- win or lose, good or bad --- there is very little carry over from one game to the next . These games are always unpredictable -- I know what the stats say -- but they often mean little or nothing once the games start

Hassan was getting dominated all game by Lopez in this game and Spolestra inserts Hassan in the 4th of this game....I did not mean not play him all game but just underestand your team and your players and what they are doing in a particular game and match up...

I smoke nothing. And once again, a case of you twisting words that aren't event said - never said that home or road doesn't make a difference just saying it doesn't mean as much as you make it out to be -- Our home/road record won't be a deciding factor as to whether or not we win a title this season

The Heat still had some life early in the 4th so that may have been a reason he left him in there at that point - he didn't want to wave the white flag too early -- I agree, probably not the smartest thing to do but a chance you can take with this not being a b2b situation with a game tomorrow

1-13 from there after the CB 3 -- if we had taken maybe 10 less 3s and looked for better shots -- maybe things would be different

It means alot for the Heat, we are only above 500 by the excess amount of home wins we have. Losing games at home versus the Nets and Knicks really hurts in the scheme of the season and in the scheme of trying to get in the playoffs and playoff seeding.

Lopez outscored Hassan by 11 and Hassan had 5 turnovers...that is the difference in this ball game.

So, then Lopez outscoring Hassan is why we lost?

In part. He was outplayed by his opposing center similar to the loss against the Nets. Also, our offense disappears in certain quarters (I blame that in part on our coaching staff not running the best offensive sets and our team not having as solid outside shooters). The team was not up for this game, did not play defense, and got beat by a team who should have been more tired and whom we had beated 2X earlier this year by double digits. Such is life, we are who we are. Games Friday and Saturday become critical to how we finish the month of January. WASTED opportunity tonight to continue with the positive vibes.

IRA asked Spolestra the tough question of how does it feel squandering home games vs teams on second night of back to back and whether it could come back to haunt them. I give the coach credit in saying that the focus is forward, but I think he realizes that we squandered some opportunities early to be more games above 500.
