Bird's in an obvious decline, but he's serviceable as a backup center. Amare is simply taking up a roster spot. At this point, I'd rather take a gamble on a cheap shooter (does that even exist?). That's what's going to ultimately do this team in.
From what I see this would be our third attempt at such accomplishment the last two times we lost to Toronto and Detroit - two pretty tough match ups for us quite often - tonights its the Knicks on a 2nd night of a B2B for them after a win against a tough Atlanta opponent
It could go either way. The start, as always, will be very telling about our chances. One thing I am sure about tonight, though I am hope I am wrong if the opp. presents itself - the Heat CAN NOT allow another game in which they get down big early and have to make a late comeback to try to win it or a down to the wire game - Just don't think they have it in them to have another game like that and get away with the win.
Doesn't need to be a blow out but certainly one that goes their way on the scoreboard from start to finish.
