What a comeback by the Heat! Wade played amazing down the stretch and in OT. Strong game by Bosh and great hustle at the end by Winslow. Great win!

The Heat too often lose games they had no business losing - tonight they win one they probably had no business winning but certainly earned

Next 5 games before shit gets real beginning on January 8th looks like this:

@ Memphis
VS Dallas
@ Washington
VS Indy
VS NYK

We need to win 3 of 5 and aim for 4 of 5. That would put us at 21-14 or 22-13 which would both be a solid record entering that stretch. Any worse than 2-3 is going to set us up for a really bad stretch and will likely means we end January barely in the playoffs.

We already won 3 of 4. Winning against the Knicks would be 4 of 5 and would put us at a nice 22-13 record

Being 22-13 would be really nice. Apparently Wade told reporters that this is the best his body has felt in years. Glad he found a new trainer and took some weight off.

I only read posts on this page but:

1. Great win. I thought we were beat at 2-3 different points of the game.
2. Bird and Amare are garbage.

Well, they aren't garbage -- but in the case of Birdman more so, he provided exactly what I said he would when he was named the starter last night - outside of energy and hustle he provided basically absolutely nothing - that is why he sits there on the bench most nights - no reason for him to play outside of garbage time.

Shout out and props to D-Wade if any of you got to see the post game he mentioned how he has put to bed all the talk about him not playing in back to back games - he has certainly responded in such situations so far. But we are only 34 games in and lots more back to backs to go. So we shall see.

Bird's in an obvious decline, but he's serviceable as a backup center. Amare is simply taking up a roster spot. At this point, I'd rather take a gamble on a cheap shooter (does that even exist?). That's what's going to ultimately do this team in.
