Also, our defensive scheme is flawed in a 3 point shooting league. We play percentages and in this league that may not be the smartest thing to do. Oh well, you live and you learn. They need a Riley intervention.
Highly doubt it. Memphis is not a good team to be honest with you.....And considering how bad Memphis have looked this year and also that we have played solid at home and been in every single game, to say Memphis smoke us is pretty ridiculous. If OKC at full strength could not smoke us at home, no way in hell is Memphis who is not playing good basketball this year is going to come here and blow us out.
Hard to win in this league scoring 81 and 83 points.
They need a coach to strictly the offense because Spo cannot coach offense unless he has Lebron James on his team.
In this day and age, if you're struggling to score 95 PPG, you can't be successful in this league.
Ok - and we are playing well? LOL. This does not appear to be a team right now. Bosh and Wade shooting up shots now. One starter plays nothing in the 4th and Spooestra has no answers. Let's see what happens.
That goes on Riley more then Spoelstra IMO.
If Gerald Green is your go to 3 point shooter, then most nights you won't be very effective.
Sometimes to get pure shooters you need to be willing to overlook defensive ability.
If you are scoring in the 80s with a top rated D and still getting blown out, then the top rated D is nothing but a meaningless stat.
Our bad offense leads to so many stupid turnovers that on those possessions we can't even try to set up our D.
This seasons lost if they don't make a move to get a pure shooter or 2 before it's too late IMO.
This is a different team at home. If you can't see that after a month plus of the season I'm not sure what to tell you. We're a good team and a bad road team.
If Memphis win by 15+, I disappear from this board for a week and if Miami wins or Memphis win by single digits, you disappear for a month....You know since you're so confident a team with basically the same record is going to come into Miami and blow us out.
Deal bro?
15 points is a ton in the NBA. 7 points and you have a deal? The loser disappears till 2016 and the other is left with Paolo?! Not sure which is worse. Hope you win honestly because I want the Heat to win but I have a bad feeling.
No doubt. Unless things change, were looking like a 6 or 7 seed
Computers - see 538s are predicting us to finish under 500 and miss playoffs.

Decided to be inactive on the boards because a couple of guys in here have remained sensitive when I make comments while I am trying to be peaceful. I appreciate those of you who have held back in not getting aggressive for no reason.
Another frustrating loss but they earned every bit of it. Maybe not having the few points we get from TJ and McRob didn't help our cause - amazing how much you miss a guy you probably usually trash when he doesn't play, eh?
Wade and CB played well - but at times seemed to be pressing to make up for last game - especially Wade as far as his shooting was concerned. Yes, he scored 20 but he still had a high volume of his usual forced up shots. His turnovers were kept in check tonight with just 2.
Turnovers were a huge problem for the Heat tonight and ultimately what killed them as E-Reid said, though someone will put it all on Spo, of course.
The most frustrating part of tonight was that a lot of our turnovers were really unforced -- which often happens to the Heat.
We fell in love with the 3 early and continued to even though we were stinking it up there. We only attempted 13 FTs, missing 5. Between the lack of ball movement, settling for shots, and the turnovers, thats a contributing factor to a lopsided margin in the FT category.
And ball movement was greatly lacking again. Thats the bad part of having Wade and CB both struggling in a previous game - they will want to get going the next game and the ball movement tends to suffer a bit in those situations.
Hassan With early foul trouble hurting himself and the team again. Frustration is not his friend. Doing to much again. Like I said earlier, when he doesn't get the ball initially where he wants, he needs to work on the art of reposting in the paint and working to get the ball again in better position for him to do what he does. A lot of his turnovers are not just because he attempts passes he shouldn't - but because he loses the ball inside trying to do too much when he doesn't have it in the spots he wants it initially.
As far as seeding goes - why bother with that shit this early in the season? We move a few spots up or down on a nightly depending on a win or a loss. No one is running away with the east just yet - I think most teams in the playoff picture of the east are only separated by 2 games at most.
As of tonight, the Heat are STILL NOT eliminated from playoff contention. All is not lost.
On to face Rio and the Memphis Grizzles on Sunday. Better hope he doesn't make us regret trading him , at least on Sunday. James Ennis was recently sent down to D-League by them.
Where are the Heat currently ranked in the BCS standings " computers" guy? Apparently the BCS is apart of determining the fate of NBA teams now.
Just sharing information Paolo. Data analytics is a big part of the game and something that our coaching staff really believes in. Multiple computers have predicted a likely sub 500 finish for our Heat. I don't disagree with you. Just sharing and sharing is caring.

BTW Charlotte just went into Memphis and won by 24. This is the team you're scared about? You can back out now if you would like. I would totally understand.
