Rudy Gay traded by the Raptors to SacTown in a 7-player trade. Thought the Raptors would build around Rudy and try to get going again but not the case. There is talent in Sacramento so Rudy will only help

In recent days some have suggested Roger Mason Jr be cut in place for picking up a few guys -- But, he is making it difficult for the Heat to even think about that these last two games in which he has played well in limited minutes when necessary. I expect him to continue to contribute when he gets his chances.

Once again, off the bench in just 24 minutes of play compared to the scrub 20 minutes of play, but as a starter - Roger Mason Jr. again outscores the scrub 12-3 as he only makes his usual lucky 3 and 3 fouls because he just cant play defense if his life depended on it.

To revisit the subject I mentioned earlier, people here have been naming Roger Mason Jr as a guy to cut to pick up other guys, but he is making a case to stay on the team and get more minutes off the bench… The only guy we need to cut is the scrub aka Shane Battier, we let him go, send him off to early reetirement and we automatically improve our team even more no matter who we get, or even if we dont get anyone else.

It is a no-brainer.
